Tyne-Tees Game Has Draw Written All Over It

The Toon have drawn thirteen of their 35 Premier League games this season whilst Boro have drawn ten games in the 2008/09 season indicating that this game, despite the need for both teams to grab all three points, will end in a stalemate.

Previous meetings between the two sides at St James' Park also show that a draw is on the cards:

2004/05 Toon 0 Boro 0

2005/06 Toon 2 Boro 2

2006/07 Toon 0 Boro 0

2007/08 Toon 1 Boro 1

2008/09 Toon ? Boro ?

We might have to settle for a draw at St James' Park on Monday night if the last league meetings there are anything to go by. A draw would not be the end of the world - we just need to avoid defeat!

Draw? You'd better hope not or you'd better hope we don't have the league clinched come this Saturday! If we do clinch it at home to Arsenal, sorry but it could be quite a weakened side that plays at Hull. Hopefully that may still be enough for the win. I'd hate for Boro to go down, Southgate, imo has done admirably for your club.

Hopefully uniteds 2nd xi will be good enough to overcome hull, southgate has done as good as he could with the resources hes had
TimBoro
Cheers mate, we have a great chance tonight after Hull wasted their chance against Stoke on Saturday. Whatever the United side is that play Hull, I still think they will be strong enough plus players will still be playing for a Champs League places.
