The rumours are starting to flourish around the Riverside as the summer action begins the transfer market.
Tuncay Sanli is set to leave Teesside in the next few weeks. It is believed the Turkish striker wants to stay in England and remain a Premier League player.
Liverpool, Everton, Spurs and Blackburn are all interested in signing the Boro striker.
How much is he worth?
Middlesbrough fans would say he is our most valuable player after his performances last season. The 27-year-old scored 7 goals for Boro this season and with his hard-working attitude was awarded the fans player of the season.
I would slap a price tag of £10million on Tuncay although Premier League teams will try at something like £7million first to try and lure him off us.
So, with the inevitable loss of Tuncay we will be on the look out for a replacement striker. One name that has been mentioned this week is Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford.
The 25-year-old scored 34 goals last season and with a price-tag of around £2million he could be key ingredient to us securing promotion back to the top flight.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Gareth Southgate acts once he knows what he can spend.
