Boro striker still under watch
Premier League Swansea City are still keen on signing Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes and could launch a fresh move in the summer.
Manager Brendan Rodgers remains a big admirer of the Dutchman and would like to add him to the ranks after steering his side to safety following their return to the top division last season.
During that time he tried on several occasions to lure Emnes away as the 23-year-old netted eighteen times while Boro narrowly missed out on the play-offs.
Emnes is expected to command a fee somewhere in the region of £5m should he be allowed to leave, although he recently signed a new deal committing himself to the Riverside for another three years.
