Boro should make signing number five
Middlesbrough should make their fifth signing of the summer today with forward Emmanuel Ledesma finally arriving from Walsall.
Boro are close to confirming the capture of the 24-year-old Argentinian playmaker who is out of contract at Banks' Stadium and has been on their radar for a number of weeks.
Ledesma recently returned to his homeland awaiting the birth of his first child in Buenos Aires and hence the delay in completing the deal.
Manager Tony Mowbray has already brought in Stuart Parnaby, Grant Leadbitter, Jonathan Woodgate and Christian Burgess since the end of last season as Boro look to improve on their narrow miss of the play-offs.
