Argentine joins Boro
Middlesbrough have as expected completed the signing of Argentinian forward Emmanuel Ledesma on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old was available on a free transfer after turning down the option of a new deal at League One Walsall.
He originally began his career with Italian side Genoa before a season-long loan at Queens Park Rangers four years ago.
Following that Ledesma, who is known as a deep lying centre-forward well capable of linking the play, had further spells in Italy with Salernitana, Novara and Crotone in addition two two separate stints at Walsall.
Boro manager Tony Mowbray has now recruited Ledesma, Stuart Parnaby, Grant Leadbitter, Jonathan Woodgate and Christian Burgess since the end of last season.
