Carayol set for Boro
Bristol Rovers forward Mustapha Carayol is close to completing a move to Middlesbrough.
The 22-year-old still has a year remaining on his current deal but finally appears set for a switch to the Riverside.
He originally joined Rovers for an undisclosed fee from Lincoln City thirteen months ago and netted six times in 35 games last season.
Carayol had earlier been the subject of a bid from Barnsley and another unnamed club but both were turned down.
Meanwhile, Boro also expect to complete the signing of Doncaster Rovers defender George Friend.
