Mowbray delighted at signing
Manager Tony Mowbray is delighted with the signing of Bristol Rovers winger Mustapha Carayol.
The 23-year-old arrives on a three-year deal and becomes the sixth newcomer at the Riverside since the end of last season. Stuart Parnaby, Jonathan Woodgate, Grant Leadbitter, Emmanuel Ledesma and George Friend have already joined the Teessiders.
"He's got the potential to be a top player," Mowbray told the Evening Gazette. "He brings a different ingredient to the type of players we already have in our squad.
"He's a dribbler and a runner with the ball, an exciting player who can play in either the wide or central areas," he added. "He's someone who can create for us, and that's something that last year, especially at home, we lacked a bit of creativity."
