Boro re-sign defender
Out-of-contract defender Justin Hoyte has finally agreed a new two-year deal at Middlesbrough.
The 27-year-old's current arrangement expired at the end of last season but he had continued training with the Boro squad.
He is now expected to be in action in the pre-season friendly at near-neighbours York City tomorrow.
"It's great to get everything signed and now I can concentrate on the new season," Hoyte told Boro's official website. "Middlesbrough is a fantastic club and I have really enjoyed my time here.
"I feel very settled in the area," he added. "I really believe we can make a strong challenge this season and I'm looking forward to playing my part."
London-born Hoyte joined Boro from Arsenal four years ago and has since made over a hundred senior appearances.
