Trialists go home
Brazilian trialists Eduardo 'Dudu' Favretti and Carlos Correa have both returned home but Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray wasn't quite ruling them out of his future plans.
The duo have apparently impressed Mowbray during pre-season although the Boro boss wasn't prepared to offer them long-term deals until witnessing how his side open their new campaign.
Both were recommended to the club by former Boro legend Juninho and recently involved against Hartlepool United and Carlisle United. But neither travelled to York City on Saturday.
Middlesbrough are currently unbeaten in five pre-season games so far and complete their programme against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Wednesday.
