Gloves are off for decision day
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is ready to make a final decision regarding trialist goalkeepers Jayson Leutwiler and Jacobo Sanz.
Boro are currently seeking a replacement for experienced former Welsh international Danny Coyne after he was released by the club at the end of last season.
Swiss shot-stopper Leutwiler was involved in their first four games of pre-season before being replaced by Spaniard keeper Sanz at York City on Saturday.
Whoever Mowbray decides upon will have to contend with spending most of their time on the bench as an available deputy to first-choice Jason Steele.
The Boro boss appears to rate Leutwiler but remains unsure over his ability to play every week in the event of any injury to Steele, while Sanz is out-of-contract but understood to also be considering offers from elsewhere.
