New signing aiming high
Middlesbrough's recent signing Mustapha Carayol is impressed by the quality of the squad at the Riverside.
The 23-year-old arrived on a three-year deal for a nominal fee earlier this month after 35 games and six goals for League Two side Bristol Rovers last season.
Manager Tony Mowbray has been busily reshaping his squad over the summer and the Gambian is one of six newcomers as Boro aim to improve on narrowly missing out on the play-offs last term.
"I can see from the way the boys train and apply themselves that we're hopefully destined for big things," Carayol told BBC Tees. "I don't see any reason why we can better what we did last season.
"Top six is a minimum, but I don't think any of the boys will settle for just finishing top six," he added.
