Keeper keen to move
Young goalkeeper Connor Ripley is excited at the prospect of being sent out on loan from Middlesbrough.
The teenager hasn't been allowed a move yet because of the lack of available cover since the departure of the experienced Danny Coyne at the end of last season.
But the imminent arrival of Swiss trialist Jayson Leutwiler should change that situation and allow the nineteen-year-old out for further experience.
"I wanted to go out last season but it didn't come off," Ripley told the Evening Gazette. "Danny got injured and I had to step in for him. But I've had a talk with the gaffer and he wants me to go out and learn my trade at another club."
Ripley was a member of the England Under-19 squad that reached the semi-finals of the European Championships in Estonia last month, although without making an appearance.
