Big future for new signing
A delighted Tony Mowbray says that latest arrival Josh McEachran can have a really big future in the game.
The England Under-21 international has joined Middlesbrough on a season's loan from Chelsea and goes straight into their squad to face
Burnley at the Riverside tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Boro had to hold off challenges from a number of other clubs, including Premier League representation, to sign the highly-rated teenager.
"He's a technical, creative footballer," Mowbray told the Evening Gazette. "He's a young guy who has a big future in the English game. He can be a top, top player.
"He's a talented individual, whose ability can rub off on our team," he added. "He can pick passes and get that chemistry going."
McEachran already completed seventeen appearances for Chelsea during the 2010-11 season since originally making his debut as a substitute in the Champions League against MŠK Žilina.
He spent last season with a handful of games on loan at Swansea City.
