Busy time for Mowbray
It looks like being a hectic week for Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray before the transfer window finally closes.
Boro are already working hard to bring in striker Ishmael Miller from Nottingham Forest but are facing competition from elsewhere, in
particular early Championship leaders Blackpool.
Meanwhile, Mowbray was expecting to have to deal with offers for some of his own players, with such as out-of-favour striker Scott McDonald perhaps poised for an exit.
And there could yet be another approach from Premier League Swansea City for Boro's Dutch marksman Marvin Emnes following a couple of
fruitless earlier attempts.
