Swans step up chase
Swansea City are ready to step up their pursuit of Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes according to latest reports.
The Dutchman has been a long-time target of the Premier League club who briefly topped the division at the weekend following their comfortable 3-0 home victory against West Ham United.
He previously scored twice during a five-game loan with them a couple of years ago, including a vital winner at big local rivals Cardiff City in November 2010.
Emnes has missed Boro's last couple of games with injury but manager Tony Mowbray will be keen to hold onto him as they continue to chase a return to the top-flight.
The 24-year-old scored eighteen times last season as the Teessiders narrowly missed out on making the play-offs.
