Striker chases hat-trick

Latest signing Ishmael Miller is aiming to fire Middlesbrough back into the Premier League after joining them on loan from Nottingham Forest for the remainder of the season.

The 25-year-old striker went straight into the Boro side as they defeated visitors Crystal Palace 2-1 at the weekend.

And having already successfully helped both West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers back into the top-flight in the past, Miller is keen to complete a hat-trick of triumphs with Boro.

"I don't see any reasons why Middlesbrough shouldn't be up there and challenging for promotion," he told the Evening Gazette. "With the players we have here we have got to be looking at the top six at least.

"And I don't see why we can't do that," continued Miller. "There is a fantastic set up here with some quality players and staff and a manager who likes to play good football. He's shown before he can get out of this league."
