Mowbray well aware of speculation
Tony Mowbray is well aware of the increasing speculation regarding an imminenent renewed bid from Swansea City for Dutch striker Marvin Emnes.
The Swans appear ready to sell Scott Sinclair to Manchester City and are said to be lining up a £6m offer for the Boro hit-man, who has remained a long-time target for the Welsh club following a successful loan a couple of years ago.
"Everybody does have his price and I wouldn't say there is nothing in it," Mowbray told the Evening Gazette. "There have been enquiries for two years for Marvin from Swansea, ever since he went out on loan.
"And yet Marvin has got, I think, three-and-a-half years left on his contract here," he added. "There is no reason for us to rush into selling Marvin Emnes. Let's wait and see what the week brings."
