Mowbray hails Boro resolve
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray praised the efforts of his side following a fourth successive away win at Brighton.
A solitary deflected strike from Marvin Emnes proved enough to lift Boro up to seventh in the table courtesy of their latest victory.
The visitors also had to thank the efforts of goalkeeper Jason Steele on more than one occasion as their opponents chased a reply.
"A lot of work went into that because we had two weeks to prepare for it and could see how they play and plan how we were going to stop them," Mowbray told Boro's official website. "The players were magnificent in taking the game-plan onto the pitch.
"We needed great concentration and athleticism and we did that very well," he added. "They got the job done for us."
Boro will hope to build on their success with consecutive home games against Hull City and Bolton Wanderers over the next week.
