Big relief for striker
Middlesbrough goalscorer Ishmael Miller said it was a relief to finally get off the mark at the Riverside.
The on loan Nottingham Forest striker soon added to Faris Haroun's 59th minute opener as Boro defeated Hull City 2-0 at the Riverside on Tuesday evening.
That finally arrived in his fifth start for the club and following injury problems since joining in August for the rest of the season.
"It's taken a while to get off the mark so it feels good," Miller told the Evening Gazette. "It was a bit of a relief to be fair. In the past I have started well at new clubs and got my first goal early on.
"But with the injuries and a stop-start few months I haven't really had the chance to do that here," he added. "I missed a few in my early games and you can get a bit down when they don't go in but as a striker you have to dig in, keep working and keep getting into positions because the chances will come."
