Middlesbrough can go top of the Championship with victory over Sheffield Wednesday at the Riverside this evening.
Boro are currently unbeaten in eight games despite a lengthy injury list which is at least beginning to show a few signs of easing.
Strikers Marvin Emnes (hamstring) and Ishmael Miller (groin) are back in training along with midfielder Kevin Thomson (calf). Elsewhere, full-back Stuart Parnaby has similarly overcome a groin problem while fellow defender Jonathan Woodgate (thigh) should also be fit.
However, Rhys Williams (ankle), Mustapha Carayol (knee) and Curtis Main (knee) remain on the sidelines, in addition to Julio Arca (toe).
"Wednesday are a huge club, with huge potential," manager Tony Mowbray told Boro's official website. "Having studied them this week, I know they have some players who will be a threat to us.
"We have to give them every respect and yet it's a game that before we kick off I'd hope that we play well," he continued. "We're solid at the back, we can ask some questions of their defenders and see if we can score goal or two."
Wednesday expect Irish midfielder Paul Corry to return while midfielder Chris Lines is also on the way back from a knee injury. But defenders Reda Johnson and Joe Mattock are currently out of action.
