Boro on the rise says defender

Middlesbrough full-back Justin Hoyte is confident his side can maintain their recent excellent form and continue to seriously push for promotion this season.

That follows the former Arsenal defender being on target for the first in three years in the latest victory against Sheffield Wednesday last week.

Boro are currently in second place in the table following a succession of impressive results and after only narrowly missing out on the play-offs last time around.

"I think we're much better set up," Hoyte admitted to Boro's official website. "Last season we faded away but I feel this season we are pushing more and there is a desire and determination to prove exactly how we good we are.

"It has been a surprise how everything has blended so quickly after a lot of changes. It seems like we are a good squad this season," he continued. "We're bonding well and whoever plays gives everything to get the result we need. Everyone gives their best."
