Ticket incentive ticks right boxes
Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines has backed the club's latest ticket initiative to increase attendances at the Riverside.
Boro cut ticket prices for the recent clash with Sheffield Wednesday and were immediately rewarded with a bumper 28,000 gate.
Now the club are offering two games for the price of one for the forthcoming home meetings with Bristol City and Huddersfield Town.
"As a player there is a massive difference when there's a huge crowd," Hines admitted to the Evening Gazette. "You get a real buzz from a full stadium
"Against Sheffield Wednesday, the crowd really helped push us on. They were the twelfth man and helped us get that second goal and take control," he continued. "As a player having a big crowd like that and an atmosphere like that does lift you. There's no doubt about that. It is great to run out of the tunnel and feel that kind of roar. It was brilliant."
