'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mowbray calls for response

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has called for an immediate reaction following the disappointing home defeat to Bristol City.

Boro slipped to a second successive loss and into fourth in the table after being on the end of a surprise 3-1 scoreline at the Riverside.

"The fans will be disappointed and frustrated after Saturday and we have to try to bounce back against Huddersfield," Mowbray told the Evening Gazette. "We need to find a better performance and a better result."

Midfielder Grant Leadbitter collected his fifth booking of the season against the lowly Robins and is confirmed as definitely missing his first game tomorrow evening through suspension.
