Mowbray keen for winning return

Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is eager to get his side back on the winning track against Huddersfield Town at the Riverside this evening.

Boro have suffered successive defeats against Cardiff City and Bristol City in their last couple of displays after previously going eight games unbeaten.

"We need to get back to winning ways as quickly as we can," Mowbray told the Northern Echo. "If you're on a winning streak, you feel as though you can pick any 11 players and send them out to win the game.

"We'll try and pick a team for this game to get us back to winning ways," he continued. "We've just come off a decent winning run and the momentum that's behind you helps no matter what you have to do with the team."

The Teesiders are currently fourth in the table and four points off an automatic promotion spot.
