We can bounce back says Mowbray

Tony Mowbray is confident his Middlesbrough side can bounce back from the loss of three successive league games.

Their 1-0 defeat at promotion rivals Leicester City on Friday evening means Boro have lost all three Championship games in January following similar outcomes against Watford and Derby County.

"We're just taking things a game at a time," Mowbray told the Evening Gazette. "We're still in the process of accumulating points and I don't look beyond the next game. We're doing all right.

"We've had a couple of setbacks but I don't think we can be accused of playing badly," he added. "I've said all along that we would probably have a period where we lost a game or two, but it's a long season and we are still well placed."

Boro are next in action at home to League Two Aldershot Town in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
