Muzzy winging back

Middlesbrough winger Mustapha Carayol is expected to make his comeback from injury at Chelsea tomorrow evening.

The 24-year-old was set to be included in Boro's development side for their Barclays Under-21 Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.

Carayol arrived from Bristol Rovers last summer but promptly suffered a knee injury against Gillingham in the Capital One Cup. He later returned to make three more appearances until requiring to undergo surgery

"He will probably get 45 minutes tomorrow night and we'll see how he gets on," manager Tony Mowbray confirmed to the Evening Gazette. "If everything goes well, it won't be too long before he's back pushing for a place in the first team."
