Former England ace wings in for Boro

Middlesbrough have completed the signing of former England winger Kieron Dyer on a short-term deal.

The 34-year-old has been training with the Teessiders since being released by Queens Park Rangers at the beginning of this month.

"He's looked really good in training, nice and sharp," Boro boss Tony Mowbray told BBC Tees. "The level he has played his football at over the years suggests he is very talented and he's shown that in training this week."

Former Newcastle United and West Ham United forward Dyer could make an immediate debut against hometown club Ipswich Town this weekend.
