Back to business for Boro

Manager Tony Mowbray says Middlesbrough must get "back to business" following their FA Cup fifth round defeat to Chelsea.

Mowbray will attempt to steer his side firmly back on track in the play-off race after losing seven of their nine league games since the turn of the year. Their latest at Millwall had them slipping outside the top six for the first time since mid-October.

This weekend Boro host Championship leaders Cardiff City, who are currently eight points clear and with a game in hand on their closest challengers.

"We've got 12 games left now. For six months of this season, we've been in the top six and we've been threatening the top two for most of that time," he told the Northern Echo. "We've obviously fallen off the pace in the last six weeks, for whatever reason, be that injury or the fact we've also been involved in cup competitions.

"But we have to get back to business now. We have to start winning football matches again and our only concern this year is to try to get out of this league," Mowbray added. "The top two looks beyond us now, but we've got every chance of finishing in the top six, as a lot of other clubs have as well of course. We've got a 12-game season to achieve that goal."
