Mowbray considers changes
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is contemplating making changes in a bid to rescue their fading promotion challenge.
Boro's costly late 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town last night found them sliding down to eighth in the table after just two wins in the league since New Year.
"We have to work hard and try to put it right," Mowbray told BBC Tees. "If we can't put it right we'll have to get some players who can do a job - that's what football is.'
Mowbray was particularly angry after conceding twice during the final five minutes, not long after striker Scott McDonald had earned them the lead with his twelfth goal of the season.
"If you can't defend set-plays you can't win football matches," he added. "Defending a corner has become a problem for us over the last few weeks. It's been decent all season but the last six weeks it's costing us. You can't win any football matches if you can't do the basics."
