Mowbray hails midfielder
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray hopes to find more players like Grant Leadbitter over the summer.
Mowbray has praised the contribution of the former Sunderland midfielder following his arrival on a free transfer from Ipswich Town twelve months ago.
"I have to say we need to try and find a few more Grant Leadbitters this year and that's not to put him on too much of a pedestal," Mowbray told the Northern Echo. "Just the quality of the pro he is, the hard work and his honesty, which is what makes him a core player and we are working hard to try and find a few more of them, which will help the team."
The 27-year-old was recently named as supporters' 'Player of the Year' after making 47 appearances and scoring four times last season.
