Boro on alert for Hungarian

Middlesbrough are amongst a number of clubs interested in Hungarian international Jozsef Varga.

The 25-year-old Debrecen midfielder ended last season on loan at relegated Bundesliga side Greuther Furth.

"There's a real interest from England and I hope that Jozsef Varga can take this chance," his agent Vladan Filipovics told SkySports. "There are a number of clubs from England, and elsewhere."

Varga is also capable of playing in defence and is a former target of Swansea City, while currently being monitored by Austrian side Rapid Vienna. He already has twenty-one full international caps to his credit.
