Boro keeper set for loan

Boro keeper set for loan

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley is currently training with Aberdeen and could make a loan switch to Pittodrie.

The 20-year-old is likely to be made available by Boro in a bid to gain himself more senior experience.

He already had a previous loan spell at Oxford United at the beginning of last year but managed just one appearance.

Ripley, the son of former Boro and England winger Stuart, was included in Peter Taylor's squad for the recent Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
