Former midfielder tips Boro

Former Boro midfielder Kieron Dyer believes the Teessiders will come out on top against his hometown club Ipswich Town this weekend.

The ex-England international played for both sides during his career but admits his loyalties remain with the club where he first started out.

"Middlesbrough seem to be playing better away from home so it will probably be a relief for them to get away from the Riverside," Dyer told the East Anglian Daily Times. "Ipswich are the same, they seem to be playing better away from home too. I know they beat Millwall 3-0 at Portman Road, but that was a workmanlike victory.

"I just fancy Middlesbrough in this one for some reason, though I hope I'm wrong," he admitted.
