Coach happy after bad start

Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka was pleased to witness his side recovering from a poor start at Huddersfield Town.

Albert Adomah scored early in each half as the visitors twice equalised in a 2-2 draw, to at least begin to shake-off the disappointment of their late weekend collapse to Queens Park Rangers.

"I'm happy because we didn't start well, we started terribly, but I think it was difficult for us today after what happened on Saturday," Karanka told Boro's official website. For this reason we changed it at half-time and after that we played how we know how to play, as a strong team playing together and putting pressure on.

"Albert scored two goals and the people who came form Middlesbrough can be happy with our players for today," he added. "The goals came from mistakes, this is the Championship, without making mistakes we had a lot of clean sheets and we need to learn from this and improve."
