 Pools monitor Boro duo

Hartlepool United boss Colin Cooper wants to take Middlesbrough pair Luke Williams and Christian Burgess back to Victoria Park next season.

The duo impressed during their respective loan spells with the League Two club last term.

However, both will still link up with Boro head coach Aitor Karanka's squad for pre-season training in July.

Cooper intends though to keep a regular check on their possible availability in the hope of re-signing them.
