Middlesbrough recorded a fourth straight pre-season victory with a 2-0 success at Hartlepool United.

New signing James Husband was given his first start by visitors who struck twice during the second-half.

Substitute Adam Reach looped a header over keeper Scott Flinders following Kike's cross shortly after the restart.

And fellow replacement Bradley Fewster then nodded a second from newcomer Husband's delivery with twenty minutes remaining.
