Boro agree forward deal

Middlesbrough have agreed a £9m deal for Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite on a four-year contract.

The 26-year-old scored a dozen goals in 37 appearances for Toulouse last season, but overall has 40 goals in 149 games and sixteen international caps for Denmark.

Braithwaite visited Boro's training ground at Rockcliffe Park to complete negotiations on Thursday.

The Teessiders have already recruited Jonny Howson and Cyrus Christie since the end of last season.
