Selection problems for promotion rivals

Selection problems for promotion rivals

Weekend opponents Bristol City have selection concerns ahead of the arrival of Middlesbrough.

Winger Callum O'Dowda is the latest player facing a lengthy period on the sidelines at Ashton Gate, reports the Bristol Post.

That follows the 22-year-old Republic of Ireland international being forced off during the recent fightback victory at Hull City.

The Robins are already missing summer recruit Eros Pisano, along with striker Famara Diedhiou, former Boro midfielder Gary O'Neil, Jens Hegeler and Ivan Lucic.

Seventh-placed Boro are currently a couple of positions below their next opponents in the table and five points worse off.
