Boro in manager talks
Middlesbrough are in discussions with Tony Pulis over becoming their next manager.
The Teessiders dismissed Garry Monk after just six months in charge following their weekend 2-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday.
Pulis was himself sacked by West Bromwich Albion last month, but is already the front-runner to replace him, according to SkySports.
The vastly-experienced 59-year-old already has previous managerial stints at Bournemouth, Gillingham, Bristol City, Portsmouth, Stoke City [twice], Plymouth Argyle and Crystal Palace.
Boro owner Steve Gibson is said to favour a quick appointment due to the busy fixture schedule, with his club still currently outside the play-offs.
