Match Day referee Eltringham has officiated 18 games in 2017/18, showing 62 yellow cards and one red card so far.

He took in 40 games in 2016/17 with a return of 112 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count that year was the game between Aston Villa and Cardiff City where he showed eight yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
