Queens Park Rangers v Middlesbrough

Queens Park Rangers v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are in the capital this weekend as they take on Queens Park Rangers at the Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.00pm).

Despite reports of flu within the camp during the week, the visitors were expected to have a full squad at their disposal.

Record buy Britt Assombolonga could be recalled in attack after only being a substitute last time out.

Two players definitely not involved, though, are midfielder Adam Forshaw, who has joined Championship rivals Leeds United, and youngster Marcus Tavernier, now on loan to MK Dons.

Rangers must check on former Boro defender Alex Baptiste (back), while full-back James Perch (knee) is closing in on a return to action.

But winger David Wheeler (ankle) and striker Paul Smyth (thigh) are both ruled out, although midfielder Jordan Cousins (hamstring) is back in training.
