Middlesbrough moved back into the play-off places after sharing four goals at Leicester City to end a run of three straight defeats.
Boro trailed early to a David Nugent header but came from behind following goals from Scott McDonald and Tony McMahon.
However, Jermaine Beckford claimed a late equaliser with four minutes remaining to deny them victory.
The Foxes earned the lead on seven minutes as Richie Wellens assumed the role of provider and Nugent headed in easily.
Marvin Emnes soon had a drive blocked by Kasper Schmeichel at the other end before Seb Hines helped on a McMahon cross from the left and McDonald headed in from close-range.
Dutchman Emnes blazed a shot over and McDonald struck straight at the keeper, while Beckford only narrowly cleared the target and then forced a fine save from the recalled Jason Steele.
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson was sent to the stands for the start of the second-half and witnessed both sides wasting a couple of early opportunities.
Beckford didn't do a great deal wrong though when turning and firing against the crossbar and substitute Danny Drinkwater also had a deflected effort.
Boro still took the lead as McMahon despatched an excellent 25-yard free-kick with just over ten minutes remaining.
That was until the same player dropped a back-pass short six minutes later and allowed Beckford to equalise from a tight angle.
